    Description:

    YP-1000 Nisin is a kind of naturally antibacterial peptide. It has been researched and produced by CAEC utilizing bio-tech means through many years study. And our YP-1000 Nisin is honorably assigned as a key-tech of program of the Tenth Five-year-plan of China. (It is the highest grade high-tech in China.)

    YP-1000 Nisin is a natural preservative & antimicrobial agent with high efficiency for food.
    YP-1000 Nisin is a polypeptide produced by Lactococcus lactis. It consists of 34 amino acids. It is a natural antimicrobial agent and used as a natural food preservative with high efficiency, nontoxic, no harm to human and is free from side effects. Nisin is deemed to be a GRAS (Generally Recognized as Safe) substance in USA , and is assigned to be the number E-234-natural preservative in European Union .

    Application:

    As a food preservative , YP-1000 Nisin is used in a number of foods:
    1.Dairy products
    2. Canned foods
    3. Plant protein foods
    4. Meat product
    5. Beer& related product
    6. Liquid egg product
    7. Processed fruits and vegetables ( tomato products ( juices ))
    8. Dressings and sauces
    9. High moisture/reduced fat foods
    10. Flour products ( including noodle and pasta); flour product that are cooked on hot plates only eg. Crumpets, pikelets, flapjacks etc.
    11. Oil emulsions
    12. Pickle
    13. Honey and syrup
    14. Mixed food ( Sauces and toppings, including mayonnaises and salad dressings , dips and snacks, etc. )


    Function:

    YP-1000 Nisin is an effective anti-microbial agent, using YP-1000 Nisin as food preservative can reduce the temperature of the heat processing and shorten the time of the heat processing required. It can enhance the quality and taste of food product, and significantly extend the shelf life of food. It can replace or partial replace chemical preservatives and meet consumer demand for food preserved with natural ingredients.

    Natamycin
    Description:

    YP-95 Natamycin (Pimaricin) is an antifungal which can be used as antibiotic to treat most fungus infections. YP-50 Natamycin is an natural antimicrobial food additive used to protect food from mold and yeast growth. Its application is reliable and safe to human body. It has been globally used in a variety of foods and beverages

    Natamycin is deemed to be a GRAS (Generally Recognized as Safe) substance in USA , and is assigned to be the number E-235 - natural preservative in European Union .

    Amount for application:

    1. Natamycin is currently approved by the FDA for use on the surface of cuts and slices of cheese where the standards for such cheese provides for the use of safe and suitable mold inhibiting ingredients. Natamycin may be applied to cheese by dipping or by spraying a liquid solution that contains 200 to 300 parts per million (ppm) of the additive.

    2.spraying 200-300mg/kg water solution on the surface of the cheese slice (FDA,72.155, 1994)

    3. GB2760-1997: spraying (or digging in) 200~300mg/kg mixed fluid suspension to the surface of cheese, meat food, meat soup, ham, Guangdong-flavor moon cakes, fresh juice, easily-moulded food, and various food processing devices. Residual less than 10mg/kg.


    Functions: YP-95 & YP-50 Natamycin are effective anti-microbial agents. Using YP-95 & YP-50 Natamycin as food preservatives can

    · enhance the quality of food product, and significantly extend the shelf life of foods by preventing yeast and mould spoilage
    · reduce product being recalled resulting from spoilage (and reduces manufacturing costs)
    · replace or partial replace chemical preservatives and meet consumer demand for food preserved with natural ingredients.
    · have no adverse flavour to foods (unlike sorbic acid which can impart a bitter taste)
    · have stronger inhibitability compared to sorbic acid
    · prevent formation of potentially carcinogenic mycotoxins
    · cover a very broad spectrum of activity - most yeasts and moulds are sensitive to very low levels of the preservative (<1 - 40 ppm)
    · do not act against bacteria - unlike sorbic acid : This makes it useful for food products such as cheese and dry sausages in which bacteria are key to the ripening process
    · remain on food surface for a long time where contamination usually occurs
    · be proven to be a safe antimycotic agent. Used in a variety of food products for more than 30 years. It has been approved as a food additive in over 40 countries
